In true Netshell Away Day fashion, we started the day with some round table activities at Enterprise house in Southampton.
The aim of this away day morning was to define the company values. We wanted everyone to feel that the values chosen represented how we think and work, so each person was tasked with choosing 15 words that they felt resonated with them. Once that was done, we came together as a team to find which 5 words everyone felt meant something to them. These final words are what we used to define our values. Head over to our About Us page to see what we came up with!
In the afternoon we headed over to Itchen Valley Country Park to take on the Treetop Challenge. The whole course consisted of 5 zones, each getting progressively higher and more challenging. The whole team moved through each zone together, providing shouts of encouragement to anyone who looked like they were struggling.
Everyone was able to finish the fourth area, however those of us who usually prefer to sit under a comfy blanket watching Netflix couldn't face the final zone, so we sat out...as a team.
